June 1949 Gojo Paper Mfg. Co., Ltd. was established
July 1958 Tokyo office was established in Kayabacho, Chuo-ku
May 1972 Affilicated company Gojo Sogyo Co., Ltd. was established
January 1975 Gojo Sogyo changed its name to Koei Co., Ltd.
November 1980 Osaka office was established in Honmachi, Chuo-ku
September 1981 Isokazu Kawaguchi became the president
May 1985 Tokyo office moved to Hamamatsucho, Minato-ku
May 1985 Koei Co., Ltd. changed its name to Koei Paper Distribution Co., Ltd.
January 1992 Affilicated company GS Converting Co., Ltd. was established
December 1992 Affilicated company Tsubakida Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established
October 1996 Koei Paper Distribution Co., Ltd. changed its name to GPS Co., Ltd.
May 2000 ISO9001 certification obtained
December 2001 Osaka office moved to Higashi Osaka. GPS warehouse was established, paper cutting machine introduced.
May 2002 ISO14001 certification obtained
January 2004 Shanghai Gojo Specialty Paper Industry Co., Ltd. was established
November 2005 Tokyo office moved to Shiba, Minato-ku
April 2007 GS Converting Co., Ltd. merged with GPS Co., Ltd.
August 2007 FSC® / COC certification obtained FSC®-C002925
December 2010 Isokazu Kawaguchi became the chairman and CEO.
Koichiro Kawaguchi beame the president and COO.
May 2011 ISO9001 certification ended, and transferred to the company’s own quality management system
June 2011 GOJO PAPER GALLERY TOKYO opened
February 2012 Gojo Paper (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. was established
