Instructions for printing

  • To prevent dust from sticking to the paper, please open the product immediately before use.
  • Please handle the aluminum laminated paper, PET film laminated paper and transtar processed paper with care to prevent leaving scratches and/or finger marks. We recommend wearing gloves when handling these papers.
  • Please maintain the temperature and humidity of the printing room within 20-25° c and 50-55%, respectively.
  • Please store papers and ink with care in the winter months. Ink may fail to adhere if the paper and ink are cooled beyond a certain point. Please store the paper and ink in the printing room for at least 24 hours prior to use.
  • In the winter months when the printing machine is exposed to cold, please take time to fully warm up the machine.(Tuck-up of the ink paper may cause picking and/or peeling of the paper.)
  • Please pay careful attention to the vapor condensation on the surface of the paper. (It may lead to poor ink coherence.)
  • Because the surface of the papers are non-absorbent in nature, please eliminate moisture as much as possible.
  • Please note the following for regular offset printing.
    • Please use as much powder as possible. Also, please divide the page into as many small sections as possible.
    • Please check the adhesion of ink in advance.

      POP-K
      Toyo ink
      TSP-400
      TOKA
      Best SP
      are recommended.
Please keep it still until it is fully dried.
※ 8 hours for 2-color prints and 12 hours for 4-color prints are the standard approximate drying time.
Also, please empty the drainboard after every 200 pages.
    • If there are many pages to be printed, please be careful of blocking. Carefully give the pages an airing immediately after printing. (Especially for products whose backsides are art papers)
    • For troubles caused by electrostatic discharge, we recommend the use of humidifier or charge neutralizer attached to the printer.
    • In cases of paper feeding malfunction, we recommend that you minimize the quantity of each load as much as possible. When loading the paper, carefully give an airing.
  • Please note the following for UV offset printing.
    • Use UV irradiation when necessary after confirming ink adhesion.
Please handle the black and white ink with special care for they have greater reflection and absorption of UV light.
    • Please check the adhesion of ink in advance.

      DAICURE RT-8
      Toyo ink
      FDO New R2、FDS
      TOKA
      161、VNL
      are recommended.
    • If there are many pages to be printed, please be careful of blocking in the summer months.
Give an airing immediately after printing. (Especially for products whose backsides are art papers)
    • For troubles caused by electrostatic discharge, we recommend the use of humidifier or charge neutralizer attached to the printer.
    • In case of paper feeding malfunction, we recommend that you minimize the quantity of each load.
When loading the paper, carefully give an airing.
  • After printing, please cover the paper with stretch film (vinyl) or the like to prevent curling of the paper due to moisture absorption and to prevent dust from sticking to the paper.
  • Processing the paper with UV coating or attaching film (PP, PET) after printing are effective in preventing scratches and fingerprints. When dry laminating the film, please be careful for the remaining adhesive may cause the peeling of the film.
  • Please note the following when manufacturing boxes.
    • When folding, please push with muscle strength.
    • Please set the folding pressure of the folding machine to the minimum.
    • As for adhesives, please use the emulsion-type adhesives of vinyl acetate acrylic copolymer type. Please check the adhesives in advance.
(Please apply the adhesive to the non-absorbent surface.)

  • Please contact our sales staff if you wish to print on the backside of specialties “GT-5.”
  • For cracking may occur during box manufacturing if UV coat is thickly applied, please check in advance.
For Pearl is particularly fragile, perform transcription process with enough care.
  • For both sides of double-sided pearl and double-sided deposition transcription processed papers are non-absorbent, please note the following.

    • For UV anchor agent is applied to both sides, please be careful of ink and paper blocking.
      • To prevent blocking problems, we recommend that you do not double-stack the product, place heavy loads on the product, or place the product in the high-temperature, high-humidity environment.
      • When UV printing, please work with care for if UV irradiation runs out, unreacted monomer ink may cause blocking together with the ink on the opposite side of the paper.
      • When blocking is caused by irradiation heat, please give it an airing.
    • Ink Adhesion
      • For the surface of the paper is more prone to condensation compared with general specialties products, please check the ink adhesion when printing.
      • For the paper is non-absorbent on both sides, please use the minimum amount of moisture.
    • Gluing
For the paper is non-absorbent on both sides, when using water-based adhesives to glue the upper side and back side, please make sure that they have been glued properly.
    • Other cautions are identical to that of the general specialties products.
